Hereditary Issues

Inheritance law governs the transfer of a person's rights and obligations after their death. The provisions of inheritance law are contained in the fifth book of the Civil Code (Articles 1710-2035). Inheritance succession can occur either a) by will (holographic, public, or secret), or b) directly by law (in cases where there is no will, or if the will has been partially or entirely invalidated). It is well-known that cases involving inheritance rights do not always have a smooth and successful outcome.

Our law firm handles both disputes arising from irregular inheritance successions (such as contesting wills) and cases involving the establishment of inheritance rights (such as the declaration of a will as valid, issuance of inheritance certificates, and obtaining necessary certifications from the relevant authorities).
